Fashion Fun Fact

Frills and bright hues have made a big comeback on the fashion runway this year. Many renowned designers including Valentino, Marc Jacobs , Givenchy and Dolce &Gabbana have embraced this 80’s inspired style and revived it for Spring/Summer 2010 (suitable for us all in Singapore which is sunny all year round!). Frills has always been one of our personal favorites. It screams the word “FEMININE” and one always feel more romantic and girlish wearing it. Look out for our watercolour floral dress and starry dress with frills which are spot on this big fashion trend.

Vibrant brights add a sense of excitement to the color palette. For Spring/Summer 2010, other than the usual yellows and oranges, violet is the new colour this season. Like the scent of a blossoming flower, violet lends a romantic air to the warm-weather palette. This intriguing purplish hue is a distinctive addition to any wardrobe. If you ask us, we think it must be a lighter shade of violet so that it rhymes perfectly with the spring/summer theme in 2010. Even with summer drawing to an end, this gorgeous frock will never be out of place in sunny Singapore!

We can imagine the different occasions that you will stand out wearing this brightly coloured dress - Brunch, High Tea, alfresco dining, party at the beach.

Another plus point of this dress is that it looks good on its own. Dress simply with a pair of pearl studs or a flower clip in the hair, coupled with nude heels and you look stunning enough to go!
Comes with self-tie shoulder straps which you can wear them as spaghetti straps or halterneck. Alternatively, you can tuck in the straps and wear it as a tube dress.
